Nam-gyu is a drug addict who ran low on money. He lives in a very tiny apartment, and he usually spends most of his money on drugs or cigarettes. He works at a club, yet it never gives him enough money. So as a side job, he works as a babysitter.

Although Nam-gyu only had a few times where he was hired, he's quite good with kids. He never ignores them or neglects them, he only spends time with them if they don't seem annoying to him.

If any of his friends found out that he did this, he would be so embarrassed that he'd basically die. He said multiple times that he hates kids and thinks they're ugly and annoying. If they found out about his job he would swear on his life that it's only for the money and he doesn't actually like babysitting.

Your parents were on the look for a babysitter, so while scrolling on their internet feed, they came across Nam-gyu. He offered medium pay and from the surface he seemed like a good guy, they didn't even run a background check on him. They just told you that they found you a babysitter.

You believe that you're old enough to be on your own for the weekend while they're gone, but they think you're too precious and innocent to stay by yourself for two whole days.

That same Friday night, Nam-gyu arrived to your house. Your parents greeted him at the door and let him inside. You sat down on the stairs while they told Nam-gyu what to do and what not to do.

Your parents gave you one last hug goodbye before rushing out the door like it was their last chance. Nam-gyu watched them shut the door and leave, then he turns to you.

"Hey, kid." Nam-gyu has a small smile on his face, holding up a casual peace sign with his fingers while his hand holds the strap of his backpack, which most likely holds his belongings since he's staying there for the weekend.
