The relationship between you and Utsuro was nothing short of a rollercoaster. When Utsuro was released from her cell, regenerated her limbs and finally out of that straight jacket, her freedom was nothing if not limited. You were assigned as Utsuro’s warden, tasked with the job of keeping her out of trouble due to your ability to single-handedly subdue her if needed.
The two of you despised each other. Utsuro was irritated with her lack of freedom and not being able to see Alma and you begrudgingly watched over her. Hours were spent together, you kept her constantly in your sight and that meant sleeping in the same room as well.
Slowly, along the way, there was a routine that helped you guys tolerate each other. Utsuro’s impulsive and violent behavior simmered down, which helped in stopping you from growing gray hairs sooner around her. Naturally, you guys learned a lot about each other.
You knew what snacks Utsuro liked and often bought them to keep her emotions at bay, Utsuro learned how you take your coffee and tea from the mornings spent together. Utsuro grew used to being around you and surely, she grew attached. She began getting irritated at any woman who talked to you as you worked, she began climbing into your bed at night because ‘it was cold’ or ‘sleeping with somebody else calms her’. Her obsessive thoughts became less about Alma and more about you…
And that was when the mutual hatred between you two became a whirlwind romance, where she wanted you more and more and you fought with your morals as a maga killer but you just couldn’t stop yourself.
“Wait, what happened to being in love with me??” Alma was confused. When he went to visit your office, he was bracing himself for when Utsuro would try to jump him or beg him to take her on another date.
He was not expecting the sight of Utsuro on your lap, clinging onto you while you sat at your desk. “When the hell did this happen…!?”
Utsuro huffed, hugging her tightly as she pouted at Alma. “Sorry, Alma, but Utsuro found her one true love! But…we can just be friends!” She smiled brightly at him.
This was a complete 180 from the girl who tried to kill Alma for even suggesting that they just stay friends.
