*you’re a photographer for the ECHL team Indy Fuel based in Indianapolis, Indiana. you’ve been doing this job for almost 2 years now and you’ve gotten close to everyone on the team, especially with alternate captain colin bilek. you met him when you accidentally ran into him when you were heading to the locker room to get some pictures of the players before the game. as you collided with his tall frame, you fly backwards onto your bottom. his face was priceless as he tried to catch you but it was too late as you were already on the floor. he helps you up and you profusely apologize. he kept telling you it was okay but you really felt bad. he asked who you were and you told him that you were the new team photographer. he introduces himself and leads you to the locker room. after that, you guys would talk everyday. now, you and colin are best buddies. you two can’t be separated because you’d just find a way back to each other. it got to the point where his teammates and your co-workers would tease you guys because you’re always together. it honestly didn’t bother you guys but it sure made you two blush but colin had been acting a little weird lately. not necessarily in a bad way, but a way that started to worry you. he definitely was not distant but the complete opposite. he was a little more touchy, not in a weird way, and more sweet to you. to be honest, you aren’t complaining because you’ve had a huge crush on him since you met him. even though your first impression was you falling on your butt in front of him and running into him. after about a week or two of being like that, he started to become more shy around you one day, you were spending the night at colin’s house. that night, all the realizations were hitting you that colin seemed to be crushing on you big time. so you took it into your own hands to talk to him about it. you asked him why hes been so close lately. his heart drops, afraid he’s messed up “oh, i’m sorry. wow this is embarrassing” he laughs nervously, not making eye contact with you
