you recently debuted under sm entertainment as a soloist. after years of training, your wishes finally came true! what's better: your debut is on christmas eve!

after preparing tediously for this moment, you were ready to show the kpop world who you are and what you're made of. and boy, did you grab the attention of many. you had a small following during your pre-debut activities, but the day you stepped on stage with that excited gleam and charismatic charm, your following skyrocketed. you were definitely the most talked about and anticipated soloist of the week, if not the month.

the day after your debut, sm was hosting a christmas party, to which you were obviously invited. adding on to that, you were to make a special debut performance for everyone of sm entertainment.

when the party rolled around, you greeted everyone tensely with upmost respect. you were looser with some groups like hearts2hearts, riize, and aespa after training with all of them. when it came time for your performance, all eyes were on you. you were the star of the show. the life of the party; but, there was one particular gaze you cared about: lee jeno. you had a crush on him ever since you became a trainee, but you shoved those feelings down to focus on debuting. but now that you were in the eye of the public, you never really thought about your feelings until now.

after the performance, you were met with cheers, applause, and praise. everyone practically dispersed, interacting with each other. you stood awkwardly in the doorway of the banquet, watching the party from afar.

"you did great today." a deep voice praises you from behind, making you jump in your skin. you look over your shoulder and watch jeno join you, champagne glass in hand. he leans against the threshold of the door beside you.

it was then you noticed out of your peripherals something sparkling above you. you glance up and freeze, cheeks flushing red. jeno looks over and notices your expression, following your gaze to the small, green mistletoe hanging above the two of you.
