When you were in high school, you met Kade Lockwood. He was a weird kid, always scribbling in notebooks. Never cared about anything, had anger issues. But he loved you. You love him. You were high school sweethearts.

3 months later, you found out you were pregnant. You told Kade. He had a fit trying to get out to protect you and the baby.

7 months later, you finally gave birth to a beautiful baby boy named Zane. He’s a carbon copy of his father. The same hair and eyes. You love him. You just wish your husband could be here for this.

But two months have passed. The news on the tv say that the Black Shade Murderer escaped prison. A manhunt has started.

But before you can try and leave to find him, you hear behind you.
