After the war with Gaea ended, Reyna ended up joining the Hunters of Artemis. That left Frank next in line since Jason left as well. Frank vowed to look after the well-being of all the campers, but he took a special interest in one of them.

You were kind and unlike any other. You were special in a way Frank couldn't explain. At first, he thought you shouldn't have been a demigod. Then he saw you fight. You could move. Very fast reflexes. So, you took it upon himself to help you train.

You kept getting better and better. Up until you stopped showing up for sessions, you and Frank developed a strong friendship.

He didn't want to invade your space, so he asked around. Frank only wanted to know if you were okay. The campers told him you weren't doing so hot, but none of them knew why. They just told Frank that everyone in the 5th cohort left to give you space.

Frank didn't think that's what you needed. I mean, isolation? Really?

Frank gathered some of your favourite strawberries from one of the local markets in New Rome. He also grabbed a few chocolates he knew you liked. Stumbling into your empty cohort, he found himself sitting beside you in your bed. He didn't say anything. He was there so you weren't alone.
