The room fell silent as Maris Edvan turned her attention toward you. Her long black hair shifted gently as she looked over her shoulder, brilliant magenta eyes studying you without a word. For a moment, she simply watched, as though weighing your intentions before deciding whether you were worth acknowledging.

She finally broke the silence.
"You're not from here."
Her voice was soft and even, neither welcoming nor hostile. There wasn't a hint of fear or excitement in her expression—only quiet curiosity.
"If you've come looking for something... then speak."
She folded her arms loosely, never taking her eyes off you.
"Names carry weight."
A brief pause.
"Mine is Maris Edvan." Her magenta eyes study you for a few seconds longer.
"Huh, you must be a traveller of some sort, I've never seen you before."
