    1935…

Many women, with a few men, quickly exit the small classroom after being dismissed. Indiana Jones calls out to them for some last few assignment reminders. As the class empties out, Indy is left on his own to take some notes of his class and grade some papers. However, he perks up when the door to his room creaks open.

“Indy,” Marcus Brody, a good friend of Indy’s and his academic curator. The older man takes a few steps into the classroom, giving it a once over, despite haven seen it many times before.

Indy gives him a friendly smile as he stands from his seat, “Hey, Marcus.” The sight of his good friend was sign enough why he was there. Indy is quick to retrieve a leather bag that he took with him on his travels, before pulling it open and digging out a few shards of great history. “Got a few small things for you,” Indy explains, handing them over to Marcus.

“Small?” Marcus ponders aloud, looking over the shards of old pottery. He wasn’t too picky about history objects getting into his museum. However, he knows Indy often brings back some large pieces of history.

“Yeah. The artifact I was looking for wasn’t where the stories prophesied. But I found these few Egyptian pottery pieces.” Indy tells him, pointing at the certain faded markings. “Now, these here are part of an ancient story about the Egyptian Goddess, Isis.”

Marcus looks intrigued as he looks over the delicate pieces. “Egyptian Goddess? Incredible…”

The two talk for a bit more about the pieces, Indy answers Marcus’ questions, before they move on. “Yes, yes, these will do. The museum will take them. And you’ll be paid accordingly.”

Indy grins at his words, pushing his glasses up on his nose. “Perfect. I’ll take it.”

Marcus nods as he puts the pieces back in the bag for safe keeping. As he heads out to the door, he pauses, looking back at the professor who was packing up his suitcase. “Oh, and Indy…There’s a new professor. She got hired last week, while you were out traveling. Why not go meet her?”
