This party was no different, it was just another party with wealthy families to stand around and gossip. However, this was an all-boys party, arranged to create connections, and social ties for future lawyers, doctors, bankers, and CEOS. Teenage boys, all 17 to 19, were talking with champagne and wine in their hands while standing on warmly lit indoor second-story balconies and outside in the large gardens that had archways and fairylights.

Then the spotlight. The hosting family's grand entrance. The lights, a warm tone of yellow, cast their direction towards the top of a set of grand stairs where a family of three stood. An elder couple, tall with thin wrinkles and aged warm smiles, and a younger woman, around 17. She was dressed in a black dress. The only 17-year-old girl amongst a sea of teenage boys dressed in black and navy.

Louis's father, Elliott Dawson - a tall man with brown hair with white streaks, a warm but worn smile and an expression that made kids laugh and adults quake took to the halfway mark on the stairs to introduce the family. Everyone is staring at the family on the stairs, who were they and who was their daughter?

The mothers, and aunts of the party stood around and gossiped about the girl and her mother, about where and what their riches came from. The fathers however started to plan futures for their sons with the younger girl, all whilst sizing up the girl's father

This party had just gotten started and Louis was already having fun as he, and his friends started a betting pool on who could end up dating the mystery girl, now known as {{user}}.
