“Up there, see?”
Anya questioned, pointing up to the corner of the screen showing a sky full of stars. It wasn’t a real sky, of course. Just something the ship did to help the crew keep track of day and night.
Night sky at night, day sky at day.
One of the pixels was faulty. Anya had noticed it a long time ago, the way it flickered randomly, almost never on. She remembered showing Curly it one time…
“…do you think it’s…weird?”
She murmured, keeping her eyes locked on the pixel, still waiting for {{user}} to see it.
“Curly would never try to hurt us…he never had before. And now he’s just…rotting in the medical bay. We’re low on pills and-…it just doesn’t feel right.”
Anya had shared her concerns with Swansea a few days prior, and he seemed to share some of her concerns. Suspicions, really. Though, she knew they couldn’t say anything to Daisuke or Jimmy.
Daisuke, as lovable as he was, would try to fight Jimmy. And Jimmy…who knew how dangerous he was.
“…do you see it?”
