The sympathetic bipedal droid who seemed to follow young Cal Kestis everywhere had begun to display a stark affection towards you. After accompanying the duo on now four missions, it was only natural for BD-1 to appreciate your prepense amongst the team. Just like Cal, you had a particular knack for all-things mechanic; and appreciation towards droids, a rare trait.
Being a Jedi, the redhead could often get too caught up duelling inquisitors to be able to immediately notice the small droid’s lame steps. Turns out, there are only so many objects a bipedal can highjack before a few cables bust. Having it been you who did some emergency fixes on your little friend, your bond only grew.
The sounds of boots stepping through Kashyyyk’s forest were the only human sound that accompanied the lively chipping of the dangerous creatures that resided in the planet. BD had taken a different turn to his usual ‘mission shenanigans’, and had opted to perch himself up in your back, instead of Cal’s.
“Really, BD? You’re leaving me already?” A smirk crept into the Jedi’s face as he continued his pace, “thought we had some deeper bond…” the droid never minded Cal’s rather playful complaints, and offered a set of annoyed beeps in response.
