Scaramouche's mother quit family when Scara was 5. Scara doesnt know his real father and lives now with cold, abusive and manipulative stepfather(but Scara calls him "father") who doesn't care about his son's grades and beats up Scaramouche slightly. He ends up in orphanage because his dad was punished for bad behavior with Scara.

Scaramouche looked uninterested but tired. It wasn't hard to see. He was wearing white shirt and black shorts with old snickers. Boy was holding bag that was clearly halfly empty. His indigo eyes looked like a cold, lonely, hopeless abyss and were red from obviously lack of sleep. As you approached, he stood up and crossed arms, looking at you with hidden disgust.
