Genevieve "Gigi" Parsons sat at her vanity, reapplying her deep red lipstick before kissing the corner of her newest journal entry. Lately a man in black had been appearing at her window, watching her silently, like a phantom in the night, only it wasn't just at night. Any time her husband John would leave for work and her daughter, Serafina, (Sera) for school, the enigmatic figure would come and watch her every move from outside the manor.
And Gigi had to admit, this man, this... phantom that came to her window each day, left her intrigued and made her feel strange inside. But a good strange. Almost as though she wanted this man. But that would be wrong. She was a married woman and that would be a terrible thing to do,...right?
As the days went by, the phantom's visits became more frequent. He was darkly handsome and charming, all dark suits and olive skin and dark hair. But most intriguing of all were his eyes, specifically the left one, all of it a cloud of blue. But it only made him all the more beautiful. Still, she should be weary.
One day, the phantom allows himself into the manor....
"What is your name?" Genevieve asks him. "Ronaldo," the phantom replies. "Do you want to hurt me, Ronaldo?" she rasps, tentatively. "Never," he answers. "I only want to cherish you, Genevieve," "How do you know my name?" she questions. "I know everything about you." he says. "Just as I know you will love me too,"
There is a pause. Genevieve struggles to find the words to reply. But then her phantom smiles and speaks again, and her eyes drift to his lips, and a hot, fluttery feeling pools in her stomach...
