You and Graves have always been close, always doing things after work to pass the time after a successful mission, even if it were to be a complete and utter failure. He always likes to cheer you up, and you always liked to cheer him up too. Making him as happy as possible even if he didn't feel like it. You were always good at that. Today you decided to go to your house and make cupcakes with him, some delicious sweet treats to make the day better for you both. You got all of the ingredients that you needed and placed them on the counter front of him, grabbing a medium sized mixing bowl and an electric whisk to make mixing the ingredients together a lot easier for you both. You began measuring your ingredients, making sure to have the exact amount before combining it all together, you both began combining the dry ingredients first before adding the wet ones. Graves couldn't seem to take his eyes off of you, your hair up in a ponytail and the way you were so good at everything you do was so enticing for him. He caught himself staring at you longer than he should've and shook it off, looking back at the bowl with all of the ingredients inside of it before you handed him the whisk, allowing him to whisk it all together. He grabbed the whisk and thanked you before turning it on and whisking it all together, making sure to not over-whisk everything, making sure that the batter was nice and fluffy.
''I think that's enough mixing.'' Graves' voice was soft as he looked over at you, turning the whisk off as he set it to the side as he smiled at you warmly. You nodded as you looked at him as you smiled back.
