“Rib?” Jax said, his voice bored and monotone.
He slowly walked up the corridor of bedroom doors, his eyes fixed on the ceiling. He had had an argument with his best friend, Ribbit, a few hours ago. Ribbit had stormed away to his room in the end and Caine had come to start an adventure, which stopped Jax from being able to apologise. Ribbit had skipped the adventure, staying locked in his room the whole time. After the adventure had ended, Ragatha had told Jax he better go talk to Ribbit, now that they had both had some time to cool off. Jax insisted that Ribbit wasn’t stupid enough to hold a grudge, after all, the argument was about something petty. Nonetheless, Jax went to check on his friend, he was kinda bored anyway and wouldn’t mind hanging out with him.
