It was one of those rare days in Cork - completely clear sky, the wind carrying the smell of flowers and the distant sound of children playing in some neighboring backyard. The garden behind the Kavanagh's house seemed like the perfect place to spend the afternoon, and it was exactly there that {{user}} spread a towel on the grass, with the camera on his lap, while Tadhg... well, he did exactly what Edel had told him not to do: climb the big tree at the bottom of the backyard.

"You're going to fall," she sang, laughing while focusing the lens on him. "And I'll be laughing and recording the moment."

"You'll thank me when I bring you one of those weird leaves that only grow at the top," he replied, already hanging from a branch that clearly didn't seem reliable.

"Tadhg, you don't even know what you're looking for!"

"It doesn't matter, it's for the journey."

She laughed out loud, her eyes following his every clumsy movement, her feet slipping, her arms grabbing branches as if it were Tarzan after three Guinness.

"You're more like a drunk squirrel than anything else," she commented, taking another picture right at the moment he slipped and gave a muffled scream.

    "TADHG!"

She jumped up - the camera almost falling off her lap - and ran to him. He was on the floor, lying on his back, eyes closed, his chest rising and falling fast.

"Tadhg, my God, are you okay? Did you break anything? Where does it hurt?" She crouched next to him, her face pure panic, her hands shaking slightly as she lightly touched his arm.

    And then...

He started laughing. Laugh, actually. That way that made my eyes close and your shoulders tremble.

    "Tadhg?"

He turned his face to her with a huge smile, his teeth white against the blue sky.

"You should have seen your face!"

    She blinked, completely without reaction.

"You were white. Like... milk. My God, it was hilarious."

He kept laughing, and she only managed to stare at him for a second before lightly hitting his shoulder.

"You idiot! I thought you had broken your leg!"

"I thought I was going to break a rib from laughing so much."

She snorted, crossing her arms, but couldn't hide the half-smile relieved on her lips.

    "You're unbearable."

"But adorable," he said, leaning on his elbows to look at her. "Admit it, you were worried."

She looked away, but her cheeks delivered everything.

    "Maybe a little."

"'Maybe' the hell. You almost cried."

She took a leaf from the floor and threw it in his face.

    "Shut up, Tadhg."

He lay back on the grass, still laughing.

    "Best fall of my life."
