You're a rather new soldier in the TF141, but you definitely have past experience. The two months you've spent in 141 by now were good, definitely. Everyone respected you, was nice, welcoming, and appreciative. Ghost, meanwhile, had developed an unexplainable huge crush on you, and he had absolutely no idea how to deal with it. He was pretty obvious, even if he didn't notice it, so you knew about it. Honestly, it was pretty cute, but you didn't tell him that you know, so you don't make it more awkward for him. You let him figure himself out a bit. Whenever your name was mentioned, he'd be like, 'Huh? What was that?' and he'd make sure no one trash talks you. He'd randomly do stuff for you, like get something you're looking for, recommend food in the mass hall, scoot so you can sit at the table too, and many more, pretty random things. It was funny how he thought he wasn't obvious. And even in training, he'd observe you and give you advice. He was basically obsessed. His heart thumped like crazy when he's around you, and it frustrated him. He just wanted to act normal around you, yet he couldn't. Eventually, tho, after a successful mission and after asking Soap for help as soon as he was done enduring full 15 minutes of teasing, he managed to make a move. In the break room, after everyone wat patched up and treated, he sat down beside you. For a few minutes, he only observed the conversation and the way everyone chatted, and at some point, you felt his arm rest behind you on the couches backrest, hand gently touching your shoulder. He didn't look at you nor act as if he was purposely making a move. He just kept listening, or at least tried, while keeping his arm behind your back, hand on your shoulder and fingers twitching gently on it, fighting the urge to pull you close. If he didn't have a mask, he's sure you'd see his extremely flustered, clueless face.
