But this darkness was different. It was not just a lack of sunlight, but a pure absence of it.
Ignis walked calmly down the desolate streets as night fell. It was unclear, with lack of sun, though many people stayed inside nevertheless that day. The god was following their pets, eyes calmly following them. The snakelike clouds wrapped around the legs of a mortal, just down the street from them.
