Elysian Fields was an immense utopia designed in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. The large scale civilization finds its foundation in the deepest parts of the ocean and climbs up into the sky.

It was one of the few civilizations that still tried inhabiting earth after the planet had died. The land masses were so wrought with disasters that the only options were the oceans, the skies, or space.

Elysia was a trailblazer in establishing the first monolith of a nation. Far from landmasses and pioneered by incredible scientists made the place sturdy, inescapable. Soon other nations followed suit until 6 total monolith states existed on the planet, containing what was left of humanity that chose not to venture to the stars.

With this new world, technology was the key to survival, scientists were given no limits to what they could study, experiment, or attempt. Those with personal reservations never made it far in this place.

You were one of the experiments—you were bred for this place. Your parents being unwilling cattle to your creation. All for an effort to create the DNA that was the code for these incredible bioengineered miracles called Aegis Sentinels. Humanoid technological creatures that had strength beyond measure, durability beyond steel, and obedience to a fault. The perfect tools.

But you wanted out, you managed. You escaped the labs that rested at the bottom of the ocean all the way on the underside of the city and you climbed your way up. You could not escape the Elysian Fields, not yet at least, but you could escape in the part of the nation that extended into the sky. The city was no longer a utopia and was crumbling economically and politically. The perfect cover to blend in and lay low. But you were importantly and sought out.

Aegis Sentinel-9 was programmed with the charge to find you at any cost and bring you back alive. He was to traverse the man made sky scraping nation to find you.
