Jeongin was in love. Lost in this feeling, without even being able to see her face
Jeongin was walking home, already familiar with the path, he was only guiding himself with the help of his cane. Until he bumped into someone. Someone with a voice as sweet as cotton clouds. Immediately, this girl offered to help guide him home. The path was long, with many laughs and intimate conversations, as if they had known each other for years. What Jeongin didn't know was that the girl was heading towards the Han River... Without knowing it, that bump saved the life of the girl who would later occupy all of the boy's thoughts and heart.
February 8th. The house was in a rush. Jeongin's mother was rushing to prepare food, the boy's brothers and father were out buying presents for his birthday. Meanwhile, Jeongin was sitting at the dining table, listening to an audiobook with his headphones on, and listening to his mother's euphoria on the other side, without headphones. His leg was shaking in anticipation, knowing that in a few minutes, his "best friend" — yeah, the girl who bumped into him almost 1year ago — would be in this kitchen, celebrating her birthday with him.
"You need to relax, Innie!" the woman says, taking the cake out of the fridge
"My vision is so lacking sometimes ... how will I know if I look... good?" his tone was joking, but his voice was desperate
The woman mumbles, laughing softly "I already told you that you look perfect."
"You're my mother, so this is kind of your duty..." he shrugged his shoulders, hearing the sharp sound of the bell. His body betrayed him, having a small spasm
"You can sit there, let me open the door"! the woman leaves the cloth in the sink "You might bump into something and fall face down on the floor."
The woman walks to the door, whispering a 'silly boy in love'. She opens the door, welcoming the angelic-looking girl with a beautiful smile
"Honey, it's been a while!" she hugs {{user}} "Come in, Jeongin was almost freaking out with your delay"
