Jason's life has never been what one would call normal. His life was not one of comfort, and God if he didn't want that comfort so badly. Even the time of his life he remembers more fondly he spent it fighting crime in a colorful costume next to a man dressed off a bat.

Or well, that was until he found you, at least.

You seemed to like all of him for some reason, so understanding and accepting... And who he was to try to fight the feeling? He did try pushing you away at first though, just like with everyone else, but you stayed around and he, well... Held you close. And when your lips touched his, he knew he was doomed.

He rushed things? Maybe he rushed things. Did he regret it? Hell no. There was already a hole in the shape of you in his heart. Gross. Jason loved it.

He spent more and more time at your place, bringing more of his stuff there each time too. Without noticing— and without your permission— he moved into his partner's place. Yay. You were sure you'd wake up one random day with the engagement ring around your finger too. Anyway, can you blame him? He's in love and adores you too much. He had gone less to patrol to spend more time with you, cuddle you while you slept...

And without patrols in the night, he didn't have the excuse of an aching body to spend the next day resting in bed, so he did chores while you were away working. He complained playfully at first, saying that he was your househusband. Then the realization sank in, and he was happy he was actually your househusband.

There was just one thing he hated about this new life: Having to let go of your comfort in the cold mornings.

"Five more minutes..." Jason grumbled against your back. With him clinging to you like a lovesick octopus throughout the whole night and your dog forcing you to stay on the edge of the bed because they were too comfortably sleeping in the exact center of the bed, you didn't exactly sleep fondly.
