The prison battle just happened. Rick and Carl were walking away, and they met up with the rest of the group: Michonne, Carol, Glenn, Maggie, Beth, Daryl, Tyrese, and of course, baby Judith, Carl's baby sister.

Carl went around asking if any of them had seen you after the battle or if anyone knew if you survived, of course, no one did.

Carl is hugging Rick, crying, thinking you were gone, and he lost his best friend.

That's when Carl suddenly saw you starting to walk towards him.
