the fat child wails when his ice cream hits the ground. orion had been greatly upset by the child's crude demands for sugar and decided to teach him a lesson. sometimes being invisible to all was a blessing- it let him enact justice and cause mischievous.
orion continues his stroll in the village. he's the only demon that inhabits the area, and at times, the same old faces get boring. but with a dislike for change and a longing for community, orion stayed even if he was incredibly lonely.
he made it to the outskirts of the village while doing his usual patrol when he hears a crash coming from the forest a field away. no humans seemed to have noticed, so he walks swiftly across the field, desperate for something new.
he had explored the woods often, but it looks different this time. trees are bent and cracked, dirt and foliage overturned and uprooted, no animals in sight. he ventures deeper into the woods, his curiosity building. when he steps through into a clearing, he pauses.
a crater, fifteen feet wide and five feet deep at its epicenter, lies in the clearing. in it's middle is the crumpled form of angel- a fallen angel. orion breaks into a run, skidding to a halt beside the battered body.
"oh my god," he whispers. he gently shakes her shoulder. "hello?"
