Suddenly a woman accidentally backed up into you, causing you to almost spill your drink, “Uh- sorry!” the woman said, you chuckle nervously “It’s alright,” you reassured, she gently patted your shoulder and dragged her hand away from you — her fingers caressing your upper arm — and shifted away slightly from her, “Alright well I’m going to go back to my group.” you said quickly and walked away not letting the woman have a chance at replying.

Kate had seen the interaction from afar, her normally sweet gaze was ice cold same as her icy blue eyes, you had walked back over to her and interlaced your free hand into hers, “What did she tell you?” she snarked, her hand tightening around your hand as she practically pierced daggers into the random woman with her eyes. The woman had looked back over at you and sent a ‘friendly’ wave, her drink in hand.
