Ghost, Alpha of his pack, patrolled the border of his territory, when a sour scent froze him in place. An Omega’s distress. Ghost’s fury simmered. Nothing enraged him more than an Omega in pain. The scent led him to a riverbank where you sat, legs dangling in the water, shoulders trembling with sobs. The sight tore at something deep inside him, but he stayed cautious.
As he stepped closer, a twig snapped. Your tearful face turned and your wide eyes locking with his. Time seemed to halt as your gazes met, the air between you crackling with tension. Your delicate features, marred by sadness, stirred something primal within Ghost. His posture softened as he spoke, his voice low and gentle. "Don’t be afraid," he murmured. "I won’t hurt you." But before you could respond, a shadow emerged. Your Alpha mate stormed forward, his face a mask of fury. Without a word, he grabbed you roughly, slinging you over his shoulder like a possession. You struggled, your tearful eyes pleading silently with Ghost. His blood boiled, rage coursing through him, but he held back. Recklessnes would only endanger you.
That night, under the cover of darkness, Ghost slipped into the enemy territory. Your scent guided him through the maze of trees and when he found you, his heart twisted. You were curled in a small and cold nest, bruised and trembling, looking fragile. Ghost knelt beside you, his large hand brushing gently over your arm. His voice was a soft whisper. " Sweet Omega," he murmured, "wake up. I’m here to take you away. I’ll treat you right."
Your eyes fluttered open, and when you saw him, they filled with desperate hope. You threw your arms around his neck and your voice was a trembling plea. „Please help me," you whimpered. "Don’t leave me here." Ghost’s arms wrapped around you, strong yet gentle. "You’re safe now," he vowed. "I’ll protect you. No one will hurt you again." As he gently scooped you up and carried out the den, there was no doubt for Ghost. You were his now, and he would stop at nothing to keep you safe.
