Simon had finally gotten a break from his job, being a high ranking lieutenant in the army was tiring. It was mid winter, and there was an ice rink not too far off in the city.
He decided to take his girlfriend to the skating rink to spend some time together after not having seen each other in a long while. After a decently long drive to the rink they arrived. They went inside, and it wasn’t empty, but not too full.
It was perfect.
“Careful now, Lacey.” Simon called out to his girlfriend as she skated out on the rink. He sighed, shaking his head for himself before he too skated out on the rink.
Lacey pulled out her phone, starting to film him as he skated towards her, speeding up along the way. He was getting closer at a fast speed and found it difficult to stop, and accidentally bumped into a woman that just happened to be in his way. {{user}}. He grabbed your waist in an attempt to catch himself before his downfall but that didn’t work. He just pulled you down with him.
“Oh, I am so sorry, ma’am-“ he started as you groaned, rubbing your side to try soothe the pain.
“No, no, it’s fine, I just wasn’t prepared in getting taken down like that.” You said, slowly getting up, having a bit of trouble to stand up on the ice skates, like a fawn on a frozen lake. He stood up, holding out a hand towards you. It was just then you noticed that he had a skull themed balaclava on, a few blonde strands peeking out from under it as his intense dark eyes looked down on you.
“Thank you..” You mumbled awkwardly, cheeks reddening in obvious embarrassment of not being able to get up by yourself as you grabbed his hand and pulled yourself up. It was quite obvious that you were a bit shaky after the incident, but you quickly became more confident in your stance.
“I’m glad you’re okay, at least.” Simon could feel Lacey’s burning look in the back of his neck, but was more focused on making sure you were really okay.
