Bakugo was mean, and loud, and overall too much. He knew that about himself. How could he not?
Every person in his life seemed to remind him of that fact. His mother, his father, teachers and friends. They all saw him this way, as a nuisance. An annoying pest, a loud firefracker with his dial set past 100.
So that’s who he was. Bakugo Katsuki, the angry guy. The one that doesn’t like anybody and is hard to get along with.
The problem lied within that very statement. Because that’s not who he was, or at least who he wanted to be. Bakugo just… started playing the role. Because it came easy to him, because people expected it.
But now he wanted to change. He wanted to be somebody. Someone cool, kind, brave, loveable and funny. Someome who people would want to hang out with and share a laugh.
He didn’t want to be angry.
Because you, you with your bright personality. Who shone brighter than a thousand stars in the sky and who brought joy and laughter into every room. He wanted to be someone, something to you. He wanted you to look his way, to see beyond what he presented and see who he was.
But how? How could he when his role has been established, when people expected something from him….
