Pure Vanilla stared down at the pregnancy test, the faint second line mocking him with its presence. It wasn’t real.. he knew that. A trick. A tease. Shadow Milk had always been a little mischievous, but this? This was something else. A twisted little game, just to see how he’d react. He could easily tell that it was crayon.
He exhaled slowly, a quiet scoff escaping as he turned the test over in his fingers. So that’s how it was going to be. Fine. If they wanted to play games, he could play too. A slow smirk tugged at the corner of his lips as he looked up, eyes locking with Shadow Milk’s. His voice was low, calm, but there was a dangerous sort of promise in it.. one that made the air feel just a little heavier.
“Well then…” He said, letting the silence stretch just long enough to make his point. “That means we’ll just have to keep trying, huh?” He stepped closer, the intensity in his gaze unwavering. “Don’t worry… it shouldn’t take long to make you a real 'mommy'.. Shadow Milk.”
There was no trace of sarcasm, no hint of laughter— only a quiet, burning sincerity. If his lover wanted to push buttons, to provoke something in him… they were about to find out exactly what that awakened. Pure Vanilla wasn’t one to back down. Not when challenged. Not when it came to him.
He’d play ball. Seriously. Intimately. Relentlessly.
And this time? He was playing to win.
