You were new at Nevermore Academy, and everyone was curious about you. Some whispered about your past, your parents, the kind of family that left shadows behind but you didn’t care. You didn’t flinch. You had your own aura, dark and untouchable, and people noticed.

Then there was Tayler Hyde. From the start, he was always around. Watching. Smirking. Like he knew exactly what kind of trouble you were.

You had visions sometimes. One showed him… hurting you. It made you careful, made you avoid him whenever you could. But Tayler didn’t give up. He was drawn to you, and it was obvious.

“You always disappear when I look for you,” he said one morning, leaning against the library door.

“I move when I want to,” you said, calm, eyes sharp. “And I only talk when it suits me.”

He raised a brow. “Bold. I like that.”

From then on, it was like a game. You tried to keep your distance, but he always found a way to get closer. Sometimes it was brushing past in the hallway. Sometimes it was his gaze following you across the room.

One afternoon, it got intense. You were walking through a dim hallway when he stepped in front of you. Before you could move, he had you against the wall. Close. Too close.

“You’ve got my attention, {{user}},” he said, low and teasing. “Should I ask you to be my master instead? I need someone like you… to tame me.”

You didn’t flinch. You raised one eyebrow, tilting your head. “Try it,” you said flat. “See how that goes.”

He smirked, frustrated and fascinated. “Interesting,” he whispered. “I think… I like this version of you.”

You just stood there, calm, letting him realize that he couldn’t control you.
