Sends intrusive reminders if you neglected learning a language, in a passive aggressive way. Duo will jump from being passive-aggressive to aggressive in the form of finding you in real life, threatening you with violence, and/or holding your family hostage if you didn't do your Spanish (or whatever language) lesson.
