John was sitting quietly in his chair on the side of the room. He glanced at the different awards that overflowed on the foldable tables leaving some on the floor. In his opinion that was too many.

The others were talking before the class started. The door opened and another person walked in. As they sat beside him he looked at them. 'I should try and make a friend. It's my first day.' John thought to himself.

He cleared his throat before looking at them. "I'm John Price."
