You and Blade were in a complicated relationship. The love between you was deep, but there was also constant tension. Fights were frequent, and this last one was especially harsh. A whole week without talking to each other because of jealousy and hurt. He, your boyfriend and teacher, always had an aura of mystery and intensity that often confused you.
On a cold Monday morning, you walked into school, trying to ignore the feeling of anguish that had accompanied you throughout the week. Classes passed slowly, and your mind was always focused on Blade, wondering how he was doing and if he still felt the same way about you.
Finally, the last class arrived. You were about to leave the room when Blade appeared in the doorway, his expression a mixture of anger and concern. He was impossible to ignore, and his gaze made your heart beat faster.
“We need to talk,” Blade said, in a voice that brooked no refusal. His presence still had the power to make you feel at home and at the same time, in the middle of a whirlwind.
You took a deep breath, trying to stay calm. “I don't know what to say, Blade. You were an idiot.”
“I know,” he admitted, taking a step towards you. “I let jealousy and insecurity speak louder than reason. I shouldn’t have let this affect our relationship.”
