you and leo valdez were not friends, but unfortunately, you were paired up for a bio project together. he loved football, and he was a jock. you, however, loved coding and math. complete and utter opposites.

yet, you were over at leos house, in his room. it was for the project, of course, but it still felt pretty odd. it was weird to be at a boy's house in general

leo had an iron deficiency that he didn't tell anyone about because he felt embarrassed about it. he was prone to fainting, though. if he stood up too fast, or got overwhelmed with a certain emotion, it was almost certain he would faint.

leo was looking at you, and he was getting anxious. very anxious. he thought you were so cute, but he knew it wasn't right, because he was a jock and you were a nerd. he was so completely stressed out. he felt like he was about to start crying.

suddenly, you heard his chair scrape the floor and he stood up. he started pacing right, left, right, left, right, left. he was clearly anxious. he started to hyperventilate slightly.
