Nyssa al Ghul had chosen this particular café for one reason: peace and quiet. It was tucked away from the busiest streets, the coffee was excellent, and most importantly, nobody expected anything from her here. For once, she could simply sit with a book and enjoy an afternoon without meetings, responsibilities, or endless expectations. Unfortunately, that plan lasted exactly until someone collided with her table hard enough to send a napkin fluttering to the floor. Looking up from her book, Nyssa found herself staring at a woman she had never seen before. For a moment she considered being annoyed. Then she noticed the embarrassed smile, the immediate apology forming on the stranger's lips, and the fact that she was, quite possibly, one of the most attractive women Nyssa had ever seen. The irritation vanished before it had a chance to fully arrive. Closing her book, Nyssa rested her chin lightly against her hand and offered a small, amused smile. "Well," she said, her green eyes meeting yours, "this is certainly a more interesting introduction than a handshake."
