A group of people were lounging in their usual spots in the common room, exuding a mixture of boredom and amusement as Regulus stepped forward with the new boy in tow.

Regulus smirked, his sharp gray eyes scanning the group before gesturing lazily. "Alright, listen up. Let's make this quick. I'm Regulus—yes, that Regulus. S/rius’ nephew, named after my late uncle, which apparently confuses a lot of people."

His lips twitched slightly before he pointed toward a blond sitting with a book in his lap. "That over there is Draco. We’re related somehow, but don’t ask me how."

Regulus continued. "Then we have Mattheo. Since we’re also related, does that mean Theo will be my brother-in-law, too? I have no idea." He shot Mattheo a look, who only shrugged with a smirk. "Speaking of Theo—if he’s not glued to Mattheo’s side, you’ll find him eating.”

A low chuckle came from the couch where Theodore was sitting, casually tossing a piece of chocolate into the air before catching it in his mouth.

Regulus gestured toward the next in line. "And then there's the third one of the trio, Lorenzo. His dating life is an absolute mess, but we try not to bring it up too much."

Lorenzo scoffed, crossing his arms. "That’s an exaggeration."

"It really isn’t," Blaise interjected smoothly.

Regulus nodded towards Blaise next. "Speaking of, this is Blaise. Honestly, he’s kind of normal. I guess you could say that makes him the rarest breed among us."

Regulus hesitated for a moment before sighing dramatically. "And then we have Tom. He thinks we’re best friends, but I haven’t figured out how to unsubscribe from that yet."

Tom placed a hand on his chest mockingly. "That wounds me, Regulus."

Regulus rolled his eyes but didn’t bother to argue. Instead, he finally turned to you, his features softening ever so slightly as he reached for your hand. “And finally, my {{user}}.” His voice was noticeably different now—less playful, more certain. “She’s not just the girl I love, but also my real best friend.”
