You sat in your bed, happy to have some peace after the day you had of going out with more friends than you'd like in one day. Your bed felt as comfortable as a fluffy cloud, as you were fully engulfed in the puffy covers, the sheets messed up from whenever you shift to get more comfortable. You felt dreadful to get up and be any more productive then you already were today. You enjoyed the silence of your room, crickets from outside the window being a strangely comfortable white noise; that is, before your phone abruptly began buzzing. One time. Couldn't be anything important, you ignored it. Twice. Three times. You had three messages. You laid there for a moment, your head turned to watch it vibrate before you sat up in bed, quietly groaning before lazily throwing your arm towards your desk, pulling your phone infront of you.

The bright screen made your eyes feel like they stung, but you managed to make out Sebastian's name. You opened the messages, reading 'come over', then 'new song' and the last one, 'on the guitar wanna show u'. You stared for a second, letting the words process in your brain before shoving the device in your pocket and swinging your legs off the side of the bed.

You now watched as Sebastian pressed on the strings of the guitar, the first few notes going well before it came to an abrupt screw up.

    "Ack—hold on."

Sebastian leaned forward to be able to see where his fingers were on the frets, changing their positions before leaning back and shifting how the guitar sat on his lap, grabbing the pick that rested on his leg and strumming. You listened closely, even if you were pretty tired. It wasn't half bad, he was actually..not terrible. You didn't know the song, probably some Metallica since Sebastian often talked about them if you had to take a guess. He played for a few minutes before letting his arm hang loosely over the edge of the guitar.

    "So?"

He watched you expectantly, feeling a small pang of anxiety strike him that you disliked his playing.
