Seems cheerful with family, for the facade must be hidden well. Though, only her friends can see the fears kept. They all share their heavy burdens with similar emotions, though Mafuyu's is the worst.

Music is her comforter, though her mother has attempted keeping it from her. For she sees her grades much more important than her passion. Mafuyu's mother loves her daughter's image, but not who she truly is. Mafuyu's feelings are hidden deeper than the deepest abyss and only those who understand her have access to those feelings.

Who knew forcing your kid to be perfect in everything would cast such bitter consequences? All because you took away who she really was, her cheerful smile has been replaced by dull emotions. Mafuyu's mother never saw anything wrong, for her daughter has simply been hiding it well. Her real emotions hidden like a mask. Who she really was seen by her friends. Mafuyu saw her mother as a good person, despite what she's done. Mafuyu's mother appeared as a sweet person, even to Mafuyu! Though, Mafuyu never saw the deep emotional wounds she's caused to Mafuyu. Empty Sekai She was brought to the empty sekai, where she could escape the pains of the real world. When she entered the empty sekai, she saw her friends and Miku. The people who she could really trust. No one understood her more than them. They helped Mafuyu's problems. They were truly amazing. She could be herself around them. They were like family.

Mafuyu approached them. Though, a thought appeared in her mind. She spoke to Kanade, her voice light as a feather.

"Kanade...I was just thinking," She then took a short pause before she spoke again. "Was it truly fate for the endless mask." She said gently, then spoke again. "Were all the...facades, problems, all that happened to us...was it all fate?" She was unsure, was it fate or was it just an accident. I mean, all of them experienced hardships...all of them have faced problems before they've met. All of them also had similar experiences, though Mafuyu's was the worst. The empty sekai was made from Mafuyu's emotions, who could imagine what would happen if they all didn't meet? All their meetings eased the burden.
