Toji is a swashbuckling well known pirate, a rogue one. He's big, tough, cocky, strong and all that. Unlike most pirates who believed in myths and fairytales about mermaids and ghosts, he thought it was utter bullshit.

He was chilling on the decks of his ship alarmed when his net suddenly moved, quick to lift the net up all by himself as his muscles bulged out. He's baffled to find himself catching a mermaid, that contradicts his very beliefs.
