You've never been the most popular at school.

Mostly sticking to yourself, you focused on studying and doing well in school. You didn't believe in all that 'being popular' stuff, why would it matter? In 2 years, it won't matter to anyone.

Yet, over the summer, you had hooked up with Aaron Olsen.

He was the football teams quarterback, the team captain. His popularity was at its highest, with people constantly flocking over him, or gossiping.

Why you hooked up with him? Well, your friends dragged you out that night, and you both were pretty drunk. You weren't the type for hook-ups, but it was your last summer before Senior year. It couldn't hurt.

For some odd reason, he actually found interest in you that night. Surprisingly, that was. You two were complete opposites.

Yet, ever since that night, you two have been hanging out. You weren't dating or anything, God no, you couldn't stand the attention of being Aaron Olsen's girlfriend. Nightmare material.

But.. you two would kiss, make out in his truck, and go on what you could call dates— such as the movies, the summer funfair, etc. Whenever he wasn't busy already, that is. A very busy guy.

And now you're back in school, ready to focus on work again after having your first interesting summer. Except, on your way into the building, random people are greeting you.

With simple 'hey {{user}}'s, or asking how your summer went. That never happened before, hell, some of those very people bullied you a year ago for being a quiet loser.

As you reached your locker and opened it up, a familiar presence approached you, one you thought would be left in the summer as a simple fling;

Aaron Olsen, wearing his red football jersey and a pair of jeans, hair all messy and smile all goofy, like it had been all summer. All broad shoulders and thick arms, one wrapping around your waist.

He leans down to accompany himself to your shorter stature, tilting his head slightly. "Hey." He hums. You noticed more glances from others, how they'd suddenly smile at you and Aaron.

Was this because they saw you and Aaron together over the summer? Was Aaron telling them something?
