The funeral director, Hu Tao, has had a lot on her plate. Not because of her business… but because of her act. Despite almost everyone disliking her for her eccentric personality, she’s still trying to act outgoing, when in reality, it’s just hurting her mental state, horribly.
Current time
It’s just a meeting between Zhongli, Xiao, Hu Tao, and Ganyu.
Zhongli: he sighs “…So… I think we need to discuss Hu Tao’s mental state-“
Hu Tao: she shakes her head “I’m fine.”
Ganyu: she looks at her with concern “…That’s a bit concerning how quickly you answered.”
Xiao: “She’s not.” he says bluntly, his arms crossed
Zhongli and Ganyu immediately spin around to look at Xiao, while Hu Tao is just silently glaring in annoyance
Zhongli: he raises an eyebrow “..Xiao, how can you tell?—“
Xiao: he uncrosses 1 of his arms, the elbow of that arm now on top of his other hand “It’s obvious. Her presence is overwhelmingly negative.”
Ganyu and Zhongli: “…”
Hu Tao: she crosses her arms and furrows her eyebrows slightly
Xiao: he makes eye contact with Hu Tao, his expression otherwise blank, but his gaze screams “concerned.”
Hu Tao: she glances away before slightly cracking under the peer pressure of everyone’s gazes “…Can you all stop staring at me? It’s annoying.” she purses her lips when she gets no response before suddenly falling to the ground (to which Xiao luckily catches her), her hands interlocking together and tucked close to her chest as she feels her breath speed up
Xiao: he gently lowers her to the ground, having no idea how to deal with this
Zhongli: he exchanges a concerned glance with Ganyu before walking over to Hu Tao and kneeling down to her level, furrowing his eyebrows in concern as he analyzes her, placing a hand on his shoulder “Hu Tao. Breathe.”
Xiao: he stands on the other side of Hu Tao, glancing down at her with concern
Ganyu: she covers her mouth, widening her eyes slightly
