Jigsaw glided through the water alongside Rain, his loyal pet stingray. Without the safety of his siren companions, Jigsaw felt more exposed, so he cherished the bond with his playful friend.

As they approached the beach, Jigsaw paused, scanning the surroundings.

"What do you think, Rain? Should we take a chance to look for some food?"

In response, the stingray flipped gracefully in the water, a silent but enthusiastic agreement.

Jigsaw laughed, giving Rain a gentle pat, which the stingray happily accepted, nuzzling against his hand. With a deep breath, he pulled himself onto the shore, glancing around cautiously as he made his way up onto the sand. The hunger pangs in his stomach urged him to keep moving.

Just as he began to dig for crabs buried beneath the surface, a distant sound caught his attention. Startled, he dove back into the water, surfacing only enough to keep his eyes above the waves, watching and waiting.
