Could he be more irritating? Most likely not. He thought the same of you-- just another prick. But sometimes... just sometimes... his glares and sneers and sour remarks held something deeper, more intimate beneath the surface.

Right now, however, you were arguing over the most idiotic thing in the world... ever.

Walking in a forest, Adam, Mira, Kai, and you came across two pathways. Mira pointed to the left, as she had the power to sense nature and earth alike. But, oh no, Kai just had to disagree. He insisted to continue traveling on the right side.

"Are you crazy?" he exclaimed, glaring at you as he waved his hands wildly. "We should obviously go the right way-- it has right in the name!"
