He sounded too convincing, damn it.

It’s strange that Bill managed to distract you from work with just two calls lasting three minutes, because before it took two hours of continuous spam in all personal accounts, and the same amount of persuasion on the phone, but here, everything is so simple.

Heavy raindrops glistened under the light of the newly lit lanterns, drumming on the window sills and making a soothing rhythmic thud. You had to leave such a pleasant environment for reflection when you noticed a taxi car coming around the corner of the house. You spent the whole trip in silence, without saying a word. The complete silence was interrupted only by the squeaking of tires on the wet roads of the night city.

Bill was already waiting for you at the front door of his mansion in LA, kindly taking your wet outerwear and hanging it to dry off a little. Meanwhile, it was approaching eleven o'clock in the evening.

First of all, Kaulitz took you to the spacious, bright kitchen and put the kettle on, because now he had one task — to warm up a frozen friend.

While the owner of the house took out mugs and sliced a lemon, he asked you with interest about your work, your immediate plans and so on. As always, you got into conversation and shared all your thoughts and ideas with each other while sipping hot lemon-mint tea.

Bill was always the most understanding and comfortable, and there was no room for quarrels in your friendship. You were more like platonic soulmates, you had such a strong rapport with him.

"There will be wine, but a little later, we don't need you to be tipsy after a couple of minutes, do we?" Bill assured with a smile, and you were already wondering what kind of adventure he had come up with this time.

Kaulitz repeatedly showed his vivid imagination at various parties, so it was stupid to think that he hadn't cooked something now. After all, you have known each other for many years and know each other better than each of you knows yourself.
