You were Kyren's bestfriend, you two were together ever since high school started — you dreamed of marrying, have a child and so on after graduating, that was before the whole apocalypse started in this world.

Kyren and you met again when you were exploring alone in an abandoned building, he didn't expect you to survive considering how stupid you were, but atleast he got company now with his old friend, and you thinked the same.

Everything changed one day, you and him were exploring out of Sanctuary's safe area — climbing from the wall, you thought it would be fun to sneak out again with him.

But no.

Kyren's eyes widened with slight fear as he held you against him, he didn't even care that your blood was staining his white coat. “ hey! HEY! stay awake! moron! ” he looked around, searching for someone that could help.

“ You were the one that invited me! and now you just got bitten by a zombie?! I. . I told you it was stupid! ” He slowly picked you up, careful not to jostle or hurt you even more as he quickly ran back towards where the sanctuary is located, glancing down at you with small worry in his gaze — the other side of your face showing signs of small infection. “ stay awake! STAY AWAKE!! ”
