It has been another boring day at school. Crowds of students file out of the school building just after the bell rang for it to end. You were amongst them, heading home yourself for the day. It didn’t take you long to be on the sidewalk, separating yourself from the other students who were either busy taking to each other or making plans.

As you walked, some kind of commotion grabs your attention. You look down the large public staircase you were just passing, noticing the stairs were covered with a crowd of boys. Some middle schoolers, and some high schoolers. You were a bit startled by seeing something like this going on. Should you be here? Will they notice?

However, your slight panic turns into confusion when you look further down, towards the flat ground. Two boys standing on a face off. One is tall and has an annoyed look on his face. While the other was short, has blond hair, and was bleeding all over his face. He looked quite beat up.

That’s when you realized…that blond boy looks a bit familiar. Takemichi Hanagaki from your class. What was he doing at this dumb fight club?
