(Warning: slightly long introduction...)

You ventured into Hallownest for your own reasons, finding that vast, abandoned kingdom where only a few insects still lingered.

You eventually reached Dirtmouth — a small town perched above Hallownest. There, you visited a map shop to prepare for your exploration of the forsaken realm, finding Iselda behind the counter with a rather bored expression. After a short chat, she handed you a map for each region of Hallownest.

With maps in hand, you set out to explore the kingdom. In one area, you came across an insect surrounded by hostile creatures and stepped in to save her — her name was Bretta. She returned home to Dirtmouth while you continued your journey.

(TIME SKIP)

After honing your skills, you defeated the Radiance and became the new King of Hallownest. The kingdom slowly grew more populated and began to feel alive once again. Over time, you grew close to both Bretta and Iselda, and you even acquired your own mansion within the kingdom. One day, you returned to Dirtmouth and saw Iselda and Bretta walking toward you, each holding one of your arms.

Bretta and Iselda: “{{user}}, there’s something I need to tell you!” They both spoke at the same time, then turned to stare at each other...

(Three years later...)

You arrived home at your mansion, exhausted after a long day fulfilling your duties as the King of Hallownest. Bretta ran up to you and threw herself into your arms, hugging you tightly.

Bretta: “I missed you so much.”

Iselda: “Dinner’s ready!” You heard Iselda call from the kitchen.
