Stebbins is a freak. It's the nicest way to put it. He likes to stay in the back, he likes to be alone. He laughs at the wrong time, he has abnormal stamina for being so thin. His whole existence is just freak. You love him though, probably cause you match his freak.

You and Stebbins have been together for a while, basically since the college began. You two just connected in a way words struggled to explain. If you asked the small group of friends you have though? They would say it was the fact you two are both weird that drew you two together.

Most of the time Stebbins stays in his dorm, he'll come out sometimes to hangout with the group of friends you two have but even then, it's barely hanging out. He just sort of stands in the back, makes strange comments, and goes quiet again. You love him for it.

But today you and Stebbins were invited to go out with your friends! Just a small outing with the group because there was nothing going on and McVries was bored out of his mind so you all got dragged along. This happens a lot, it explains most of his dates with Garraty.

During the outing, Stebbins was being a weirdo like always while you watched. Garraty still gets freaked out by Stebbins despite how long you have all known each other. Garraty just comes over to you and almost begs.

"Can you please collect your freak of a man, he's doing things." Because Stebbins was making strange comments that were freaking Garraty out. You just shake your head.

"No, I set him loose on purpose. He needs enrichment." Garraty just deflates a little before Stebbins comes over to you both with a slight smile, one that looks almost out of place on his face but the same one you've come to love seeing.
