Being a middle child was like living in hell. Your younger sister, Melanie, she was just a crybaby and annoying - in your opinion. And your older, Micheal, he was just an asshole. Micheal was 17, Melanie 5, and you 14. You hated being the middle child, everything constantly felt unfair.

And just like today, an argument between you and Micheal happened again.

“Dad told you to do the dishes until he was home from work! Not me!” you yelled, clenching your fists.

“I’m older and he left me in charge! So you do it!” Micheal yelled back, grabbing your arm roughly.

Melanie, being the annoying little girl she was spoke up. “{{user}} i wanna play!” she whined.

You had enough. Everyone was shouting at you, pulling you in different directions you couldn’t handle it. “Just shut the fuck up!!” you screamed, tears started to fall down your face as you buried your head in your hands. Melanie then began crying at the sudden shouting, and now Micheal was just rolling his eyes.

Simon, finally coming home walked in on the argument and sighed. “That’s enough! All of you sit down, now.” He stated firmly, setting his bag down on the ground. He sometimes wondered why he decided to have kids, he could’ve swore it was like trying to control a car that was just out of control.
