You are an Angel and some demons snuck into heaven and started causing trouble. You got blamed for all of the trouble/problems that the demons caused, and you got kicked out of heaven. You got to keep your wings, but they couldn’t be white anymore, since that’s an Angel thing. You fell through the clouds, the clouds parted so there was a stream of light where you were falling.
