To be fair, all he remembered from Limbo was that it was filled with Streetcleaners, or fake nature. Or fire. So he didn't really believe you when you ended up recounting your small gardening hobby on one of his patrols.

But no, here he is. Splendor and Justice, both his swords, on the ground as you crouched on the dirt - letting your hands dig into it to plant another seed to add to the collection of growing flowers close by. He doesn't even want to ask how it's possible for it to thrive. It is Limbo, but still; the both of you are still in a layer of Hell right now. He doesn't even remember why he agreed to come with you today.

But then you suggested trying it with him. He was skeptical, and very, very unwilling. Mainly because he has no idea how; it seems easy when you do it but he knows better. But, eventually you hear the familiar crescendo of a sigh behind you and then footsteps as he decides to indulge in your request. Why not? He has nothing better to do.

He was right to be skeptical for a reason. He still kneels at the destroyed soil and flowers around him, unsure what to say. You asked for him to move some of the plants into pots (he doesn't ask about them) for your own use, but he pulled them out horrendously, screwing up the soil and the roots. The entire bed is destroyed - there goes your flowers, but in his defense, you were the one who asked the Archangel of Justice to plant pretty flowers with you.

Being domestic was something completely out of touch to him; far too inexperienced to do this with you. Doing something that requires a gentle touch, like your gardening, is something he lacks but pays tenfold with war and blood. So unfortunately, you’re stuck with a warrior, not a gardener.
